Title:
Know how our memory Works
Concept overview:
-
This project will be put on Youtube and TikTok to help learners know how our brain works and be able to learn and remember knowledge better.
Statement of need/problem:
-
When facing a bunch of information that needs to be learned and remembered, students are exhausted and can not absorb information efficiently. After watching this video, they could understand the information processing theory of human memory and start to learn in scientific ways which improves their learning and cognitive performance.
Concept description :
-
This video could resonate with learners who struggle with remembering or learning like the cartoon character in the video. And then, the elf will pop up and tell them the reason. Afterward, the elf will explain the reason which is the information process theory, and give them 4 learning strategies based on the theory.
Target audience:
-
Learners or students who are exhausted from learning too much information and would like to find a solution to improve the situation.
-
People who are interested about the information processing theory
-
Language: English
-
Age: 20-45 years old
Learning goals:
-
Learners could understand how human memory works
-
Learners could obtain the learning strategies and apply them to their own learning.
Learning theories:
-
Information processing theory which is the content of my video
-
Signaling theory: The highlighting and colored words/sentences get learners' attention.
-
Spatial contiguity theory: I put the related visuals and texts together to make learners learn better.
